In particular, using glue rather than wood screws to join planks creates a solid bond over a wide area, not just at isolated points. What’s more, the addition of reinforcements at strategic points, while considering the direction of the wood grain for greater strength, reduces the amount of woodworking required. These methods reinforce the structure as a whole, considerably reducing creaking and ensuring exceptional stability.
